We are now into our 3rd year of our listening support project in the 2 Outwood Academy’s in Barnsley. Each half term we have been working with 2 different groups of young people, listening to their issues and supporting each individual throughout. We have been extremely fortunate to receive funding from the North East Area council to support this project.
In addition to this project the team supported the NHS stop smoking service that were in school once a week working with with the young people. The project ending in July 2019 but we are pleased to say the project will be back in January 2020. The Ad Astra team will once again be supporting the NHS.
