The SWAG project is going from strength to strength. Our New Lodge women’s support group recently organised an afternoon tea. The group made a fantastic £500 and will be donating the profits to Barnsley Homeless.
The Old Town Women’s group have also been working hard organising a stall for the Christmas fayre, making product to sell. They made a fabulous £60 that will be donated to the choir that they all attend and participate in.
The MAD girls are doing an amazing job, the project is all about raising awareness about positive mental health. The girls are working towards their first performance that will for Women’s International day in March.
Thank you once again the the North Area Team Barnsley for funding this project. The funding has allowed us to get the projects up and running. We are in the process of looking for future funding to support the project.
